Edmunds Gives their Black 3.8 Track a Throw

edmunds-gives-their-black-38-track-a-throw-01Edmunds Inside Line has give their Black Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track a throw around their…well track. In short, they love the responsiveness of the car, and it really is in a class by itself. However, they did find some problems with the overly sensitive traction control that doesn’t allow for full bore shifts, which introduced a delay in sprints and resulted in a lower than expected 0-60 time. Hyundai and Edmunds nicknamed it the “three second delay”. Oops, lets see how this pans out. Click here for the reivew and a video after the jump.

Our 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track is painted Bathurst Black. That’s Bathurst as in Bathurst 1000, a 620-mile (1,000-km) race on Australia’s Mount Panorama Circuit, a 3.9-mile road course with 23 turns, grades of up to 16 percent and a 1.2-mile-long straightaway named Conrod Straight after a spectacular engine failure endured by racer Frank Kleinig in 1939.
