496HP Turbo 3.8L V6 Genesis Coupe
I don’t know where this build orginated from (Sources say Autz in Korea, but I can’t find anything about them) but I’m seeing threads for it made on a bunch of websites like GenCoupe and LowMotion - what we have here is another member with the V6 model with an aftermarket turbo bolted on. This particular one has a rebuilt engine with forged internals to be able to make a very healthy 504PS (496HP) to the wheels. We’ve mirrored the pictures here, but if you have any more news or information on this build please let us know! Too bad this is all on a forged motor, there won’t be nearly as much power available on stock internals

where did you guys buy your turbo for the genesis coupe 3.8 track?
Marshall - July 5, 2010
Man .. sick car ..
but hey the acceleration from 1 to 60 mile (or 100km) in how many seconds??
austin - October 30, 2010
ok so 25k-33k for a 3.8l genesis coupe, guessing about 8k for the built motor and 5k for the turbo set up, tune, cluch etc etc. so around 40+k into a genesis for 496hp, or you can just buy a fully built supra pushing over 700hp for about 30k – 40k. or buy a 2007 saleen extreme with 615hp stock for 35k, waste of money i say. so hmm what would you spend your money on, buy a better car for less money and more hp than he wasted or you will waste on a build like that, hmm well you be the judge.
austin - October 30, 2010
oh and those hp’s on the supra and saleen are to the ground, not the crank or flywheel hp,
david - November 1, 2010
yeah, good point austin. but why would you want to drive around a mustang or an old supra. you can spend 25K on a fully built 89 civic hatch back too for 600 hp but i don’t think anyone would want that. i think it’s all about preference, so stop trying to push yours on others.

two options. gt35 single turbo kit or gt28rs twin turbo kits.
keith mcgraw - November 17, 2011
If you need a turbo kit, you shouldn’t be going turbo…specially not on a car that costs as much, unless you have the dough to pay someone who knows what he’s doing, and trust me these guys are rare

Is the Genesis V6 a single or dobble air intake?
what’s the best option, single or twin turbo?
is it a high compression engine?so if i want it turbocharged,i need to low compressed it first?
thanks for any advice.

Do you run on the stock ECU?
